CHS grads meet in softball game

Coupeville High School graduate Hailey Hammer’s seventh-inning home run provided the lone run in Everett Community College’s 1-0 softball win over Shoreline Community College Sunday, April 10.

Coupeville High School graduate Hailey Hammer’s seventh-inning home run provided the lone run in Everett Community College’s 1-0 softball win over Shoreline Community College Sunday, April 10.

The game featured a match-up of former Wolves; Madeline Roberts plays outfield for the Dolphins.

Hammer, a first baseman, was 1-for-3 in the game; Roberts finished 0-for-1.

Hammer has appeared in 13 games so far this season, hitting .303 (10-for-32) with five RBI.

Roberts has played in 11 games with two hits in 19 at bats (.105) with four runs.

Everett (9-9) and Shoreline (8-6) are tied for second in the North Region with 4-2 records. Bellevue (21-4) leads the division with a 5-1 mark.
