Candles, stories at Christian Reformed

There will be a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at the Oak Harbor Christian Reformed Church, 1411 Wieldraayer Road, Oak Harbor, on Friday, Dec. 24, at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to come and hear the Christmas story told through readings and singing of the familiar Christmas carols. Episcopal Christmas Eve service

St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Oak Harbor, will hold a special Daylight Christmas Eve Service at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 24, with Pageant and Holy Eucharist, and an evening service at 8 p.m., with a carol sing starting at 7:30 p.m. Each person will light a candle from the Paschal candle at the end of the service thus allowing each of us to symbolically take the light of Jesus into the world. All are invited to this special, visitor friendly service. Both services will be in the All Saints Chapel, Oak Harbor, with The Rev. Patricia Eustis presiding. Christmas story comes to life

The Church on the Rock will have a special candlelight Christmas Eve service at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy the Christmas scripture through a dramatic telling and song. Celebrating the birth of Jesus

Living Hope Foursquare Church will be celebrating the birth of Jesus with a Candlelight Christmas Eve Service Friday, Dec. 24, at 7 p.m. The church is located at 105 NW Broadway in Coupeville.

Everyone welcome to a free dinner

The Oak Harbor Seventh Day Adventist Church invites everyone to come celebrate Christmas with a Christmas message at 11 a.m. followed by a free community Christmas dinner until 3 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 25, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 31830 Highway 20 next to Home Depot. All are welcome.

Anglicans make Christmas plans

Christmas Celebrations at St. Stephen’s Anglican will be held Friday, Dec. 24, and Saturday, Dec. 25. The Saturday Christmas Eve service will be Lessons and Carols followed by Communion and the Christmas day service will be a Noon celebration. All are welcome to share this celebration of God with us.
