Candidates file for state, local offices

The filing period for potential candidates for state and federal offices ended Friday. The Whidbey News-Times will provide thorough coverage of the issue and campaigns affecting Island County.

This is the most current list of state-level candidates available from the Washington Secretary of State.

A primary election will take place September 14 where voters must align with a party to select the candidates for the November general election.
