The following items were selected from reports made to the Island County Sheriff’s Office:

Thursday, Oct. 8

At 12:14 p.m., a Jones Road resident reported that a man was digging on his property and refused to leave.

At 1:54 p.m., a caller reported that a man was passed out on the side of Goldie Street.

At 10:17 p.m., a resident reported a burglary on Bismarck Lane.

Friday, Oct. 9

At 10:07 a.m., a West Beach Road resident reported that someone, possibly “Sheriff Howdy,” wants to put her in the electric chair for shooting people.

At 2:55 p.m., a caller at a State Highway 525 location reported that a man made lewd comments about him and his pet snake.

At 3:59 p.m., a caller reported that a 28-foot cabin cruiser was in the middle of a pod of orcas and harassing them off Possession Point.

Saturday, Oct. 10

At 8:12 a.m., an employee at the hospital reported that a patient was starting to act up.

At 1:54 p.m., a caller reported that a man and a woman were fighting in the middle of Oak Harbor Road.

At 3:47 p.m., a caller reported that a herd of goats was in a field next to a church on Maxwelton Road.

At 10:09 p.m., a caller at a Midway Boulevard business reported that a man refused to leave and was hiding underneath a table.

Monday, Oct. 12

At 7:28 a.m., a caller reported a cabin on Lakeside Drive was burglarized.

At 10:33 a.m., a resident reported that someone broke into a storage unit on Northgate Drive and stole everything.

At 12:22 p.m., a photographer reported that people were shooting birds with a shotgun off Madrona Way.

At 5:19 p.m., a caller reported that a young male was sleepwalking down Maxwelton Road.

Tuesday, Oct. 13

At 12:22 a.m., a caller reported that a car was stolen from a parking lot at the Clinton ferry dock.

At 5:15 p.m., there was a report of a man sitting on the beach off Maxwelton Road and yelling at no one.

At 11:53 p.m., a resident reported that a man in black was looking in the windows of an office on Homestead Road.

Wednesday, Oct. 14

At 7:38 a.m., a Lakeside Drive resident reported a chair was stolen off the porch and someone had been in the crawlspace under the house.
