BENJAMIN ETZELL, son of Kriti and Michael Etzell of Greenbank, has enrolled at Saint John’s University for the 2014-15 school year. Classes for fall semester began Monday, Aug. 25.

The following students, all of Oak Harbor, recently graduated from Seattle Pacific University: LAURA KATHLEEN NAGEL with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, KALLIOPI KELLY PANTOLEON with a Bachelor of Arts in English and KEITH L. SNAVELY with a Master of Divinity in divinity.

JORDACHE KUPAPALANI HISASHI RICHARDSON, of Oak Harbor, was named to the Honor Roll at Central Washington University for the summer quarter.

EMILY NIENHUIS of Oak Harbor is serving as an ambassador for the 2014–15 school year at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. Ambassadors serve as leaders in welcoming prospective students and their parents to campus. Nienhuis is a junior and is majoring in chemistry.
