Four members of the Coupeville High School softball team picked up first-team, all-Olympic League honors for their stellar play this spring.
In addition, 10 players received varsity letters and five earned special awards at the team’s banquet Thursday, May 28.
Senior Hailey Hammer paced the awards parade by being named the team’s Most Valuable Player and Best Offensive Player and the league’s top third baseman.
Senior McKayla Bailey and freshman Katrina McGranahan were both selected first-team pitchers for the Olympic League.
Bailey was also chosen the Wolves’ Most Inspirational Player, and McGranahan received the Best Defensive Player Award.
Freshman Lauren Rose was the Olympic League’s first-team designated player and received the team’s Coach’s Award from Deanna Rafferty.
Other letter winners were senior Monica Vidoni; sophomores Tiffany Briscoe, Jae LeVine and Robin Cedillo; and freshmen Kayla Briscoe and Hope Lodell.
Sophomore Jasmine Melena was selected the Most Improved Player.
