Coupeville on Whidbey Island is known for its Penn Cove Mussels, but it is also renowned for its above-average schools, picturesque neighbourhoods, and friendly shop-owners. The small-town charm is matched only by its lively culture and rich history.
For Paula Peters at Windermere Property Management South Whidbey, expanding her business into Coupeville was a natural progression, having spent many years participating in the life of the town.
“My family is rooted in Coupeville as much as it is in Freeland,” says Peters. Having a daughter who attends Coupeville High School and will be a graduating Senior in the fall and having volunteered many hours with Central Whidbey Little League, and a new member with the Coupeville Chamber of Commerce, Peters considers it an extension of her hometown.
“It is time to expand my territory to include the Coupeville region,” says Peters. “I know the community and can provide first-hand knowledge of life on the Island.”
The Windermere Property Management Advantage
“The home rental market is one of the tightest I have seen in a long time,” says Peters. “Attainable housing in desirable communities is difficult to find.
Windermere can help property owners find the right tenants, and we understand what it means to be a landlord.”
Windermere Property Management South Whidbey has been in business since 2008 and knows the communities it serves.
“We manage every detail from marketing your property, screening potential tenants, leasing logistics, deposits and rent, and property maintenance,” says Peters. “We help solve tenant questions and requests from the day they lease to the day they move out.”
Windermere offers both commercial and residential property management. They help make the lives of property owners easier while protecting their assets.
“I can help simplify life for property owners,” says Peters. “I create an individualized plan, and collaborate, and partner with owners to ensure their investment property is performing. I know the community, which further contributes to my client’s success.”
Knowing the market is just part of what makes Peters successful in helping her clients. It is also the passion she has for the industry.
“There is nothing more fulfilling than helping put a roof over someone’s head,” says Peters. “After all my years of experience, I still get emotional when I help people find a home, they can be proud of and create a partnership between them and the property owner. It is an amazing feeling.”
Peters has worked in the industry for 17 years and, in is the past president of the National Association of Real Estate Property Managers for the Snohomish County Chapter. Being a member of the NARPM means a higher standard of operation, honesty, and integrity.
“I’m surrounded and guided by top real estate and property management professionals,” says Peters. “That means success for my clients — property owners and tenants.”
