Methodists address Jesus
Jesus is believed to have died at the age of 33 after a life of approximately 12,000 days. The Gospel writers devoted most of their work to just 1,100 or so of those days, the last three years of his life; and their primary interest was in one particular day—the day he was crucified. They believe this 24 hour period change the world, and each of the Gospels drives toward it. April 3: Jesus, Barabbas and Pontius; Pilate; April 10: The Torture and Humiliation of the King; April 17: The Crucifixion; April 24: Easter – Christ the Victor. This is the message series at First United Methodist Church, 1050 SE Ireland St, Oak Harbor. Call 675-2441.
