Holy Week at St. Stephen’s

Join St. Stephen’s Anglican Church for a holy week journey leading to a joy-filled Easter. Thursday, April 21: 6 p.m., soup supper followed at 7:00  by Last Supper Commemoration. Good Friday at Christian Reformed

Everyone is invited to a Good Friday Communion Service at the Oak Harbor Christian Reformed Church, 1411 Wieldraayer Road, on April 22 at 7 p.m.  Members from both the First Reformed Church and Christian Reformed Church will be leading this special worship service. Nursery will be provided.

Easter morning at Oak Harbor Christian Reformed Church all are invited to a joyous service on April 24, 10 a.m. There will be special music performed by vocal ensembles as well as a dramatic reading of the Easter story. Pastor Randy Beumer will give the message. Nursery will be provided.

Get up with the sun on Easter

The Oak Harbor Kiwanis Club hosts its 21st annual Easter Sunrise Service at 7 a.m. Sunday, April 24. The speaker this year will be Don Jaques, pastor of Christ King Church, with special music by Lance Gibbon. A free will offering will be taken for the benefit of the local Help House. The nondenominational service will be held at Windjammer Park near the windmill. Bleachers are not available for seating; attendees are welcome to bring their own folding chairs. In case of inclement weather, the location will be moved to the First United Methodist Church at 105 SE Ireland St.

Easter season at Coupeville Methodist

On April 21, Coupeville United Methodist Church hosts a traditional Holy Thursday service at 7 p.m., featuring a encore of the cantata by the popular choir. Sunrise service will be held at the beautiful Sunnyside Cemetery overlooking Ebey’s Prairie and Puget Sound at 7:30 a.m. on Easter Sunday, April 24, followed by a complimentary breakfast at the church. Nazarene makes its Easter plans

Oak Harbor Church of the Nazarene, 1100 West Whidbey Avenue, announces its Easter scheduled. Good Friday service will be April 22 at 6 p.m.; Easter brunch April 24 at 9:30 a.m.; followed by an Easter Celebration at 10:30 a.m. An egg hunt will immediately follow the celebration service. Grace Orthodox hosts breakfast

Sovereign Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church will be hosting an Easter morning breakfast Sunday, April 24, at 9 a.m. The delicious breakfast will be followed by Easter morning worship service which begins at 10:30. All visitors are welcome. Sovereign Grace OPC meets at the Seventh Day Adventist Church building located at 31830 SR 20, Oak Harbor, near Home Depot.

‘Two Faces in the Shadows’

Oak Harbor First United Methodist Church, 1050 SE Ireland St, will hold a special Good Friday service presentation of “Two Faces in the Shadows” on April 22, at 7:30 p.m.

Concordia Lutheran’s Easter slate set

Concordia Lutheran Church, 590 N. Oak Harbor Road, Oak Harbor, hosts its annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 23, at 11 a.m. Lenten Worship services continue on April 20 at 6:30 p.m., preceded by soup supper, served from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
