Oak Harbor NJROTC students place 1,500 flags on veterans’ graves

On Saturday, Nov. 5, members of Military Officers Association of America, Oak Harbor High School’s NJROTC and Boy Scout Troops 4059 and 4081 placed about 1,500 flags at the graves of deceased veterans in Island County cemeteries. Flags will be retrieved on Sunday, Nov. 12. This is the fourth year for this annual project. Photo by David G. Cohick
