Bayview Corner Street Dances return

Get out your dancing shoes — a series of upcoming musical performances are right around the corner.

Bayview Corner Street Dances sponsored by the Goosefoot Community Fund are beginning soon. The free and family-friendly events will take place 6-8 p.m. every other Wednesday, starting June 14 with the Nathaniel Talbot Trio, a roots, blues and pop group.

Rain or shine, the show goes on at the Bayview Cash Store, which is located at 5603 Bayview Road near Langley. Beer and wine are available for purchase.

ROSSaCONN, a funk, African and reggae rock group, plays June 28.

Catch Rubatano Marimba — Zimbabwean-style marimba — July 12.

The Nick Mardon Trio is set to take the stage July 26, with blues and rock.

PETE plays Aug. 9, also with blues and rock.

From polka to punk, catch Western Heroes on Aug. 23.

Doctor Savage is scheduled for Sept. 6 with funk, soul and R&B music.
