Victims always stuck with crime

I am appalled by the recent stories of the young youth leader at Living Faith Christian Center. It sickens me to read about how concerned everyone is about the young man. Did we forget about his victims, who were children, some as young as three years old?

I wonder if the church would have reached out to somebody they didn’t know and showed them the same support. I think not. The fact that this man was a church family member and trusted among many, makes this crime worse. Yes, people you know and so-called “good” people do bad things. These type of people prey on good, trusting people and love it when the “bad” is discovered that the very people they victimized are still supportive of them and want to help them.

Be concerned for the children and the parents of this crime and pray that the children never read about how some of their parents supported this young man and wouldn’t cooperate with the prosecution. This young man will get 20 years in jail and the help that he needs, hopefully, but 20 years from now this crime will still haunt the victims. This crime is stuck with these children for the rest of their lives!
