Throwing bubbles not that bad

I’m stationed overseas right now and have been catching up on the news back home in Oak Harbor. It seems a little odd that in the cases of the woman principal alleged money laundering, a 24-year-old woman that shot into a house at her boyfriend, a 19-year-old woman that actually stabbed her boyfriend, all end up with (if convicted) a year prison sentence. And yet, a man that throws a bottle of bubbles can in fact get the same prison sentence (if convicted).

Is the court system this biased? A girlfriend that stabs someone can end up with less of a prison sentence as a guy who throws a bottle containing a soapy substance at a wall?
