The other obligation

Chris Strow ran and was elected to the Washington State Legislature on the basis he would serve and tend to the needs of the 10th District for the entire term — not to resign on a whim.

To be able to spend quality time with one’s family is what each of us desires. To fulfill your obligation is equally important.

The opportunity to spend time with his family is a valid claim, however, it also frees Chris Strow to take advantage of the next job opening he likes.

My suggestion is to watch the upcoming governor’s race. Pay attention to who might be active in support of Dino Rossi’s efforts in this regard. As for the Washington State 10th District, hopefully the next representative will take the job seriously and serve the people of this district responsibly and for the entire term.
