With all the letters that I have been reading about the storms and PSE and such I would like to take a moment to comment.

I am a true believer that everything happens for a reason. Perhaps we are being humbled as a human race, or even perhaps this is a lesson to be prepared, because we do not know what could be thrown at us.

Look at Colorado, look at New Orleans. Really in the big picture of things this is minor and it gives us a chance to say, what can I do to “weather the storms.”

Instead of worrying if PSE will spend millions to bury the lines why not come up with a plan for today? If you’re worried about your elderly neighbors, check on them, see what you can do. What a great opportunity to get to know your neighbors and to have a plan in your neighborhood or community.

To sum it all up, be prepared!
