I just wanted to say thank you to all the wonderful people of Oak Harbor who have written letters and cards and sent packages to me while I have been stationed here in Iraq. Your words of encouragement and well wishing have been a great help in my recovery from surgery, and for that I thank you.

Your support to soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines deployed overseas has been the proof that the residents of Whidbey Island truly support the U.S. military.
