Software is meant to be used with flight training

This is in response to the letter to the editor, “Software success should mean closing OLF.”

Apparently, Michael Monson fancies himself as an expert on naval aviation and military families. I’m sure MSNBC, CNN and FOX News will invite him to a panel on such topics soon.

The same individual leading a group of sovereign citizens in Citizens of the Ebey’s Reserve that wants to close OLF Coupeville, also wants to ignore certain facts. Facts like “Magic Carpet” is meant to be used in conjunction with proper Field Carrier Landing Practice training.

Training is required in areas that are relatively dark and remote, like Central Whidbey — not Ault Field.

However, what is in some dispute, and my opinion is, that COER’s misbehavior is a threat to the national defense and national unity of this nation, called the United States of America.
