Share the pain, win some votes

Regarding to the article on April 14, I fail to understand the problem. After cutting 55 people from their overpaid-underworked positions it only follows that our county leaders should set a good example by not taking their raises!

To top that off, they should show some good faith by cutting their pay by 5 percent. Now that would not only show some real, “we feel your pain,” but would be a good vote-getter. Do that and you get my vote — maybe twice.
