Planned Parenthood committing ‘atrocities’ | Letter

Not only does Planned Parenthood snuff out the lives of babies, but harvests their body parts with a calculating callousness of heart. For them it is a business and their way of contributing to medical advancement.

Editor,

Many years ago, as a young child, I discovered a medical book tucked away under some clothes in my mother’s sewing cabinet. It was a book with pictures of the various stages in gestation of a baby from conception to birth.

I was shocked, yet full of wonder.

Mother never discussed, nor did she answer my questions of where babies come from. That’s the way it was in many families way back then; and so, being a curious child, I would often sneak a peek at this astounding book.

However, my curiosity left me feeling ashamed, because in my child mind this was a secret book to be hidden away.

Looking back on this period in my life causes me to realize that shame is exactly what Planned Parenthood wants young women to feel about their “unplanned pregnancy.” However, instead of calling it a baby, they use the words “tissue,” or “blob,” to relieve any feelings of guilt the mother might have about aborting.

A human life, a baby, is a miracle. All life has a beginning. As tiny as human life begins, everything is there that makes it a baby. All it needs is nutrition, oxygen and time to grow.

From thence we all come and mature throughout life, often to old age.

Now, not only does Planned Parenthood snuff out the lives of babies, but harvests their body parts with a calculating callousness of heart. For them it is a business and their way of contributing to medical advancement.

How much longer will we, the people, be silent before our federal government and allow it to fund these atrocities?
