Paul will be effective district representative

Editor,

I met Dave Paul this past summer. Since then, I have got to know him and admire who he is as a person. The first thing that I noticed in interacting with Dave was how thoughtful he is. I knew that he was weighing the pros and cons of declaring his candidacy and that the timing had to be right. It was a time in his family life that he could make this huge decision and commitment to run for office. I was very pleased when he launched his campaign last week.

Dave has many outstanding qualities and skills that would help him be an effective representative for all citizens of the 10th Legislative District. The one that stands out for me Is his commitment to work for quality education for all people.

As an educator at Skagit Valley College, he comes into contact with diverse students of all backgrounds, races and nationalities. I think his deep understanding of the critical role education plays in creating equal opportunity gives him the unique skill set to be an effective leader and representative.

Please go to his website “Vote for Dave Paul” and make up your own mind about him.
