What side of the street should I park on?
I thought I would ask this question of the people of Oak Harbor. Where I grew up we usually always parked on the side of the street you usually drive on, meaning, pull over to the side of the road or street and park.
In Oak Harbor I have noticed this rule dosen’t apply, or isn’t enforced. I see cars parked any which way on the side of the city streets.
Isn’t it a bit harder to pull out when you want to drive? Look out, here comes a car right at you! Why? Because you’re on the wrong side of the road.
I’d call that a safety hazard, wouldn’t you?
