Paid pros given septic honors

You turn your back for an instant and there you are: probing deep into the sewage that has been collecting in your septic tank for a year. But wait! You probably won’t get that honor. No, you’ll have to pay somebody, a professional septic system inspector, to do that exciting job.

That is, if the Island County Health Department ever figures out how it’s to be done, when it’s to be done, and what the criteria are for success. Oh, and by the way, they haven’t figured out the cost for this stinking idea.

No plan, no criteria, and the cost hasn’t been established. One thing is certain, the Health Department will demand a higher share of your taxes to shove this down your throat! Yecch!
