Oak Harbor Motors will survive

With recent ongoing news about the viability of Chrysler and the many questions from friends in our community, we feel the need to respond … we are still here and we will survive.

During the past 30 years at Oak Harbor Motors, we have been through several ups and downs of the economy and, consequently, ups and downs of the car business. When we purchased out dealership in 1979, there were questions of Chrysler’s future then. Through Lee Iacocca’s leadership and hard work, we weathered than storm.

It is for sure that we have had to make adjustments within our business, like many of you, but the fact is: we are here to stay. To answer the question about warranties on any vehicle purchased: They are backed by our “Lifetime Powertrain Warranty.” In addition, on March 30, President Obama announced a plan to provide a government backed “Warranty Commitment Program” that guarantees the manufacture’s warranty. So you can have peace of mind when making a significant purchase, like a new car or truck.

It is our commitment to our great, hard-working staff and to you, our customers, that we will be here to sell, service and warranty your vehicles, and hopefully for another 30 years!

We are proud of our community and are very thankful and appreciative of the support it has given to us and our family. Likewise, we have done our best to give back over the years by volunteering, coaching, sponsoring and donating to various causes. Thank you again for your time and support.
