Is it presumptuous of us to think that the government has the best interest of its citizens at heart. That when the recession subsides and sales tax revenues increase back to previous levels the three-tenths of a percent transit tax will be rescinded.

I do not want to lose bus service, however when the additional tax is not required to maintain current levels it should be rescinded.
