Letter: Trump lost election, Biden needs support

Editor,

For all the people who think Trump is their hero: Would you just look around and stop watching Fox News?

The pandemic has thrown millions of people out of work, put them on the brink of losing their housing, maybe sitting in food lines to feed their families and with no health insurance.

The pictures do not lie, even if you want to lie to yourselves.

All states have certified the election, which Joe Biden won by over seven million. Not a close election.

What excuse will you come up with after the electoral college does it’s thing? Will you still want to hang on to Trump by any means? What has he done for you?

Do you own stock that went up? Bully for you!

If you care about remaining in a democratic nation — where you can do, speak, act as you please — and not a dictatorship, then wake up.

Trump does nothing to take care of the nation, especially does not model good behavior for people to follow. So, in following his bad example they do not wear masks and the virus is now out of control.

Even in his last days, Trump cares only about retaining power, consequently filing 55 court cases to over turn a fair and honest election which have all been thrown out, and rightly so.

There was no evidence.

Other countries in the West have found ways to support their people in these dark times, except us. How sad.

Why should suffering people have to wait eight months for another measly check, if it was for a war the Republicans would never question the need or amount. Why should feeding children be a problem?

Trump lost and Biden needs our support to gather people together to repair the damage done to this country.

We need to stop whining and get behind Joe Biden in his efforts. He sure looks and acts more like a president than we have seen in years, four to be exact.
