Letter: Superintendent is overpaid, should pay for bond

Editor

A school bond for what?

As long as the school board continues to pay their figurehead superintendent nearly as much or more than the nation’s president, we will vote no.

Over the years teachers we’ve talked to frustratingly expound that the best student learning and life preparation comes from home environments that teach respect and responsibility; not from ego fantasies spawned by mighty edifices.

Let the superintendent teach by example. He/she can start by building or repairing out of his/her own pocket. He/she can afford it better than the rest of us.
