This is a shout-out to the trails management team of the South Whidbey Parks and Rec District at the Trustland Trails network in Langley.

My wife and I moved to Freeland back in April and we discovered these lovely trails soon after we moved here. We were there the last two Fridays and were pleasantly surprised to see a whole new trail added over a week’s time. And there is one more in the works right from the trailhead off Craw Road.

The trails have always been well-maintained for a relaxing walkabout. During these COVID times, we need as many options as possible for recreation in a quiet setting. Now there are more trail options to enjoy at Trustland.
