Letter: Shame on Langley council for talk of defunding police

Letter to the Editor

Editor,

With regard to the Saturday Whidbey News-Times article on defunding of police and the subsequent concern of an officer moving on due to a lack of council support, get a clue, Langley City Council.

Are you modeling after the inept Seattle City Council, reacting without any clear thought plan or thought to consequence?

Shame on you. Perhaps too little too late.
