Letter: Once trees are all gone, where will animals live

Editor,

Here’s to you greedy people out there. Please stop stripping our land. You are taking away our beauty that the Lord has given us.

It’s not only about that. Most of all, it’s about the creatures our heavenly father has given us to enjoy and protect. You are taking away their homes. Now they are homeless too. Just last week some trees were cut down in which a peacock lived, and it escaped to a family member’s back yard.

Where will they live? Where will they get protection? Just look all around the Jones Road area. It is ugly, it is too late to save them.

Where will the birds and other animals live? This regrowth will take 20 or more years from now. It hurts. I close my eyes and ears to the sound and sight of it.

What else can the wildlife eat but our our flowers and gardens now that we have taken away their trees and grass.

Enough is enough. Please stop.
