Letter: Kudos to city for its update to Windjammer

I’d like to extend heartfelt thanks and congratulations to the City of Oak Harbor leaders and workers who put together the updated Windjammer Park.

My family and I have been there several times this summer and saw people from all generations laughing, playing and enjoying life together. This project was not done on the cheap, but was done with plenty of imagination and attention to detail. This is an example of how a building project can bring people together and raise the quality of living in our community.

Well done.
