Letter: Incumbents unfairly excluded from story

I’m quite disappointed to read your one-sided story featuring opposition candidates for our school board. It read to me as an unbalanced piece of journalism, and unfairly excluded our current school board members who are doing an excellent job prioritizing academic excellence, inclusion, and public health.

Please focus on informing the community about the stark differences between the opposition challengers, who are essentially taking potshots at public education from the sidelines, and Marnie Jackson, Ann Johnson and Andrea Downs, who represent our community’s deep values of supporting students, advancing excellence and caring for public health.
