Letter: Human interest stories a mental health tonic

Editor,

Heartwarming, fulfilling stories like “Home for the Kids: Whidbey woman takes in two goats deemed lost causes,” (Wednesday, Nov. 25 edition) by reporter Kira Erickson assure my continued subscription to the South Whidbey Record/Whidbey News-Times.

I thrive on good news, and stories like this one are a mental health tonic.

Thank you for seeking out and publishing human interest news
