Sometime in the last few days some persons — I am omitting the words I am feeling about these people — dumped a load of debris onto the Whidbey Island Nordic lodge property.

We at the Whidbey Island Nordic Lodge take great pride in maintaining our property with volunteers and expense so we can be a respected member of the Coupeville community.

Our lodge and property are a community asset and well-used by the residents of Island County and many nonprofits here on the island.

The dumping of debris on our property creates a cost we, as a nonprofit, must pass, very unfairly onto the island users of this property.

We would very much appreciate if the debris dumpers would in the next week remove their dumped material.
