Letter: Happy to see conservative letters in Jan. 13 edition


I agree with the thoughtful Jan. 13 letters to the editor written by Frederich Wilferth and Clairann Haney and am delighted that they were published.

Of course, your opinion piece and Lynn Petersen’s letter were printed at the same time, presumably to ascertain that nobody gets the impression there might be many conservatives here.

By the way, I also agree with Patricia Dunn’s letter regarding Growler noise. It’s inappropriate for our mostly residential island.

Seems the older I get, the more I value peace and quiet.

I’m not anti-Navy, just anti-Growler. And yes, I was here first.
