Letter: Freeland Rite Aid staff went above, beyond

Editor,

This letter is embarrassingly loooong over due. I apologize to the employees at Rite Aid Pharmacy. I should have sent this letter much sooner!

You have given it your “graduate school” try to keep up with all of our demands. First, you absorbed all of Island Drug when they closed. Who knows how many thousands of prescriptions you accumulated.

You got us through the pandemic, when you were short staffed. And through all of this hardship on you, you have treated me with such respect, kindness and competency — and many times have gone the extra mile for my demands.

I don’t know all of your names, and I know you have all worked so hard. I do know a few names that I would like to mention— Tiffany, the multitask pharmacist; Arabella, who says it just like it is with a beautiful smile and kind voice as she manages 1,000 tasks; and Justin, your patience is beyond beyond.

Thank you to the dear people at Freeland Rite aid Pharmacy

Susan E Cohen
