Regarding the proposed increased touch-and-go flights at Ault Field and Outlying Field Coupeville, the current noise ordinance time restrictions in Island County may become null and void if the increased carrier landing practice is allowed.

How can one type of noise be allowed and not others?

So, all of you partiers, music lovers, gun enthusiasts, late-night lawn mowers and wood cutters, you may be able to continue doing what you like after 10 p.m. without worry of police asking you to tone it down.

One person’s perception of noise is another’s music.

Fair is fair.
