Letter demonstrates partisan hyperbole | Letter

Editor,

A recent letter to the editor regarding upcoming appointments to the Supreme Court reminded me of the days I taught civics or American government.

I told the classes to watch the comments that came out following a decision. Those that agreed with the court complimented the justices on their legal reasoning and astuteness. When they disagreed they were called partisan hacks.

The letter referred this a perfect example of the hyperbole the finds its source in the right wing noise machine and the presumptive nominee.

As repugnant as Clinton’s nominees might be to some, they hardly come to the idiocy exemplified by Trump and his comments, which remind me of Sarah Palin on steroids.
