Letter: Continuing to hold annual Musselfest ‘irresponsible’

Editor,

I just want to go on record that I feel that those who are in charge of the Coupeville Musslefest were irresponsible for not heeding to the recommendation of health care professionals to not have gatherings of more than 10 people.

Island County borders on King and Snohomish counties, where 23 have died from COVID-19 this far. Seattle itself has been placed on a list of places to avoid. Makes one wonder why they made such a decision.
