Letter: Biden’s antics will be remembered as his legacy

Editor,

I am disgusted with what I can only call the antics of Joe Biden. I could only hope he would go quietly into oblivion, but I was wrong. In making sure that his legacy will be remembered, he has decided that if it can’t be, to paraphrase Shakespeare’s words, for the good that will be interred with his bones, it will be for the evil that lives afterwards.

Mr. Biden has made a mockery of the presidential pardon system, has committed treasonable acts and disgraced his oath of office. He has financed enemy countries and terrorist organizations through back door means, while constraining allies.

As president he is responsible for the deaths of countless citizens at the hands of illegal aliens and 13 servicemen for his disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. The murderers he has commuted are responsible for the deaths of innocent children and he shows no compassion for the victims’ relatives.

He has cost taxpayers close to a trillion dollars to pay for uninvited invaders who wander through the country as well as for his ideological climate boondoggle.

He is not alone in his guilt. Every official of a sanctuary city or state bears partial responsibility for what Biden stands for. In the ancient times of city-states, an outcast from a competing city could request “sanctuary.” The outcast would then become a member of the city governed by that city’s laws. Somehow, that idea has escaped Biden, the governors and mayors of declared “sanctuary ” jurisdictions of this country. Illegals are given extra legal status and seem above the law.

In a few weeks perhaps sanity and equal justice will prevail, or so I hope. Until then we will have to hope no more damage is done.
