Letter: ‘Angel’ sculpture would be welcome addition to park

I strongly urge the Oak Harbor Park Board, city administrator and city council to accept the gift of Sebastian’s wonderful sculpture, “Angel de la Creatividad.”

Please don’t let your “taste in art” be influenced by its design and, ultimately, whether or not to accept this piece of art.

While some would rather see a more traditional work, such as a windmill or acorn, others enjoy the look and feel of contemporary, abstract pieces.

Think with an open mind, embrace something new and different, and accept this amazing gift from an internationally renowned artist.

This sculpture would be a fantastic addition to Windjammer Park.
