Letter: ‘Angel lady’ who turned in lost purse new best friend

Editor,

In early December, I had a quick errand at Walmart, parked in the handicapped area, and did my shopping. I loaded my car and left the cart containing my purse in front of the area I was leaving for the next person needing it.

A while later, at home, I realized my purse was not with me. In a panic, I drove back to the store.

Lo and behold, a very nice angel lady had turned it into the service counter. Because our purses, as usual, contain not just money, but our whole life, I cannot thank you enough and wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Your new best friend.
