On the front page of the Oct. 1 issue of the Whidbey News-Times, there is a picture of turkeys roaming the streets of Oak Harbor. The article stated the problem will be solved by hastening the turkeys’ demise for Thanksgiving dinner. Right next to this article, is a smaller headline that reads, “Time to grill the candidates.” Even if this subliminal editorial is a coincidence, I will have to say this is one editorial I agree with completely.
