Gay marriage is not Haugen’s problem | Letters

Could it be that the voters were fed up with Senator Mary Margaret Haugen’s propensity for pork barrel politics? Could it be that after her long term in the office the Senator was out of good ideas? It would seem that by the election results the voters were tired of the tax-and-spend policy of her party.

Could it be that the voters were fed up with Senator Mary Margaret Haugen’s propensity for pork barrel politics? Could it be that after her long term in the office the Senator was out of good ideas?

It would seem that by the election results the voters were tired of the tax-and-spend policy of her party.

Could it be that her opponent ran a better campaign stating what her vision was for the future of her district rather than point out on what she had done in the past?

I find it strange that the Whidbey News-Times has chosen to publish an article on the loser’s complaints of losing the election because of the new senator’ tactics when her staff used the very same against her opponent.

But it does point out the bias of the paper and it’s left-leaning staff.

The bright side is that Haugen will have more time with her husband.
