It seems to me that deepening and enlarging the Keystone Harbor to accept the available larger ferries would be a long-time solution to the problem. Increasing traffic in the future is a sure thing. If we build more small ferries, we will again face a problem. Why not do it right, and save a lot in the long run?

Another, larger site is available, where the ferries landed back in the 1930’s a mile further east.

I am no longer a resident, but am still interested in the welfare of Whidbey. I was born in Fort Casey in 1913.
