Looks like Langley Mayor Larry Kwarsick stepped in it big time, as he now prepares to spend 15 days in jail.

Back in the mid-80s I worked a couple of years for Island County and in that position interacted some with Larry Kwarsick before going to work for NAS Whidbey.

Over the years I worked with many people who have impressed me.

I always felt that I could make a short list of those people who were uncommonly competent and dedicated to their profession, people who made better the workplace and the community in which they live.

Although I have not talked to Larry Kwarsick in years, I would still put him squarely on that short list of people.
