I just wanted to thank the staff at the Naval Hospital Whidbey Island for the excellent care that they have given my family for the last 10 years. We have a daughter that is an exceptional family member, she has a variant of Turner’s Syndrome, a seizure disorder and diabetes. The care she receives is excellent, she sees the same doctor in the specialty clinic for every visit. I myself see a physician’s assistant, the same one every visit. My family and I have been referred to specialists when needed and I am very satisfied with the level of care my family receives. I have never had a problem scheduling an appointment within the desired timeframe.
It saddens me to see the broad brush critique, that was printed in the “Soundoff” column April 21.
So here’s my thank you to the doctors, physicians assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, corpsmen, lab techs and pharmacy staff. I think you do a great job.
