Do voters have a short memory span?

Do people still remember how and why our beloved Garry oak tree was cut down? Bob Severns was a council member and was part of the secret meeting the mayor had while Jim Campbell was out of the area on vacation. Not one council member went public about this meeting or tried to contact Jim Campbell about this dirty deed they were doing.

So why should the voters reward Bob Severns for aiding and abetting the cutting down of our oak tree?
