Don’t need window clings to ID gays | Letter

Editor, What happened to the idea that people are free to choose who they are? Putting window clings on businesses to let gays/lesbians know where they are welcome to shop is the most juvenile and ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

Editor,

What happened to the idea that people are free to choose who they are?

Putting window clings on businesses to let gays/lesbians know where they are welcome to shop is the most juvenile and ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

Everyone has the right in America to religious freedom, but don’t you dare tell anyone where they can shop and don’t you dare throw your religious beliefs at them.

Oak Harbor needs to “Get with the times” and stop the nonsense.

Think of this — we are already losing money because the businesses downtown change every two to three years.

You start telling everyone that you don’t want to take the same green colored money from gays/lesbians you will probably suffer more consequences.

It’s called, “tell 10 people and they’ll tell 10 people, and so on.”

If I had wanted to live among prejudice I would have moved to the south.
