Last evening, my sister and her daughter discovered a serious water leak in their home and water was coming through the basement ceiling and also backing up into the kitchen sink.

Unable to contact a plumber at that late hour, she called Central Whidbey Fire District. Crews responded within minutes. The very courteous responders not only stopped the water, but dried up the soaked floor and stabilized the situation until a plumber could be contacted. Their concern and actions were far above what one might expect, and the two senior women are extremely grateful. Kudos to our fire district and its able employees.
