I was reflecting on the adverse reaction to your editorial cartoon regarding the recent violence at Virginia Tech. (Why do they call them cartoons anyway — they’re social commentaries, not the daily comics. If you want something funny, read Zits.)
Anyway, that picture was one of those that, with adequate publicity, might well be considered for a Pulitzer Prize. Folks should remember that editorial cartoons are usually drawn to generate reflection on the subject. And that one sure did its job.
